Bound full tree calf with red morocco title label, double gilt horizontal lines divide spine into 6 panels, 1cm worm track near bottom of front hinge, chip out of leather at top of front hinge, worn through at 2 corners, rubbed a scuffed just a bit, lacks free endpapers and flyleaves, medium to heavy foxing. Pagination: (1) title, (1) copyright, (4) recommendations, (4) dedication, (2) contents, [1]-265, (1) blank. Includes 2 folding charts: the first, 30 x 32.4cm "Prospective View of the Prophetic Chronology and Prophecies of the Apocalypse. The second: 30.5 x 37.4cm has headings: Line of Kings; The Woman; Sion,Angels Vials, Harvest &c.; Beast from the Sea. The two foldouts are historical charts identifying prophecies with events in history. The chart anticipates that in 1844 that an Antipope will Ascend from the bottomless pit, "makes the whore desolate, utter destruction of Babylon; makes war with the Lamb--battle in Hermageddon; cast alive, with the false prophet, into the lake of fire." With early ownership inscription on top of title page: "John Bell April 21 1824."
