Robert Wilkinson (fl. 1607) Church of England divine, D.D. of Cambridge. This sermon was originally published in 1607 as "The Merchant Royall Preached at the wedding of James Hay, Earl of Carlisle and Honora Denny," and preached before James I. We offer the 2nd Henry Hills edition, 1708. This sermon was reprinted in a collection 17th & 18th century wedding sermons in 1732-36 titled "Conjugal duty: set forth in a collection of ingenious and delightful weddings sermons..."
