Book Condition   heavily rubbed and scuffed, vertical split in middle of spine--repaired with flexible book glue and cord are still holding, leather split along both hinges but hinges still fairly tight, bottom 3cm of spine chipped away and consolidated with flexible book glue, worn through leather at corners, inside hinges repaired with archival paper, medium to heavy foxing.

< First printed in 1792, this is the first printing reflecting the changes made by the General Assembly in their sessions of May 1805. Contents included the Constitution, Confession of Faith, Larger Catechism, Shorter Catechism, Forms of Government, Forms of Process, and The Directory for the Worship of God. The printer, Jane Aitken, took over her father's business on his death in 1802.
