One of the best known works of Thomas Boston(1677-1732) Church of Scotland minister. He wrote much & exercised great influence in the Presbyterian Churches of both Scotland & England.

Bound leather covers, rebacked with modern tan acid-free tan paper with printed title label, leather rubbed and worn through at corners and edges, later endpapers, foxing, edge of title worn some, page edges trimmed close to text.
